Blowers for filter backwash in drinking water treatment plant, EYDAP, Galatsi DWTP
Drinking water treatment plants normally use sandfilters, which have to be backwashed at fixed intervals by low pressure air lobe blowers.
- This specific treatment plant has a capacity of drinking water of 540.000 m3 /day.
- For the cleaning process of the filters 3 lobe blowers of total installed power of 225Kw were placed.
- Our company has installed blowers at other plants of EYDAP of daily treatment capacity of 850.000m3 and 200.000m3 respectively.
