Leachate aeration system & Biogas flares, Sanitary Landfill Mavrorahi Thessaloniki
Sanitary landfill with annual disposal of 150,000 tonnes of solid municipal waste.
The site has a leachate treatment system and a biogas collection network with a biogas pumping and flaring system.
MICHOS SA properly designed and delivered:
- Aeration system with 9 lobe blowers with total installed power of 500kW.
- Complete aeration network with 1600 plate diffusers and prefabricated aeration grids.
- Two biogas flares, each with total capacity of 2000Nm³/h and a burner power of 10MW.
